But, we had a great weekend. We started off with a little shopping. Flip flops are hard to come by this time of year, but this place had them. You know what else they had? Adorable game day clothes that don't break the bank. Who knew? I will be revisiting soon.
I got up Saturday morning to run my first Race for the Cure. It was really neat to see all the people running in honor of a loved one.
But 16,000 runners in a 5k? This was about my thoughts on that.
Then, we watched a lot of football. We got our hearts broken. But, life goes on. There are much more tragic things in life than losing a football game. After a 19 game winning streak and a national championship, there isn't a whole lot to complain about.

The sun did rise on Sunday. Good thing, because there were mountains of thank you notes to write. Centerpieces to work on. Thoughts on these?

We are gearing up for a big week of final wedding appointments and the move next week. It's go time folks.

I like your football attitude :) Also, I can't wait to try the meatball sliders! They look ammmmazing.
I like the centerpieces...not so sure Gris-Namath-Clark-Wolfe-Searson does, though. He'll be strong. Let him chew on a wooden apple and see if that doesn't change his attitude.
