Hello. It's been a while. Everytime I think about catching up, I get overwhelmed at how behind I am and step away. Rinse and repeat.
But we have a full blown toddler now who is learning new things every day and keeping us running all the time and I hate I haven't done better at keeping track of all his going ons.
He's moved up to the toddler room at school and has taken it by storm. He can't get there fast enough in the mornings and while excited (sort of) to see us in the afternoon, he's just as content playing wth his friends and toys.
He's started to show us he has a mind of his own and loves handling his own 'chores' of feeding Namath (Namath does not love this) and putting his dirty clothes in the hamper. His never ending energy is challenging, but he keeps us laughing for sure. We love him to pieces.
Come March, he will be a big brother. To a little brother! We are excited and nervous and surprised. But most of all grateful that we've been entrusted another sweet little life.

Wright One Year
Wacky Tacky day for Dr. Seuss week.
Weight: At one year, we took a guess of 23 pounds, and were pretty much right on. You are a little chunk! Right in the 64th percentile.
Height: 28 inches - 2nd percentile. You are a shorty, but I think you have genes on your side. You'll shoot up at some point, I have no doubt.
Sleep: Still a great sleeper. You did pull a fast one on your dad and trained him to get up every hour on the hour to give you your paci back. We caught on to this and had to teach you to self soothe again. We also started putting multiple pacis in the bed and letting you figure it out. You've done great. Hashtag blessed.
Clothes/Diapers (Sizes). 12-18 month clothes, size 3 diapers, size 4 nighttime diapers. Your clothes are starting to look more little boyish and less babyish. So cute, and so sad.
Diet: You went through a little spell where all you wanted was fruit and yogurt. I think you figured out playing was more fun than eating. You are a little more picky now and seem to have an aversion to chicken sometimes. Welcome to toddlerhood, I hear.
Favorite Gear: Wagon. Hands down. You love, love, love to take a wagon ride with a cup of milk. See and be seen. The apple does not fall far from the tree.
Milestones/Firsts: Walking! You took your first steps on February 13 and have been on the move since! You had tubes put in February 26 and were walking so much better the very day you had them in. Amazing.
Likes: Lights, balls, opening and shutting doors.
Dislikes: Lotion after bath.
