In the Past Month...

I knew the blog would slip a little when I was home, but I hate to see a month go by with no record of what's been going on. So, a quick catch up. It's a lot of the same each day, while being challenging and so fun all at the same time.


We've met the big fur brother. He's been pretty unimpressed with any crying (although it's pretty minimal) and dismisses himself to his crate. He's had some trouble adjusting, but overall, has done better than I anticipated.

We watched the Olympics with dad.

Wore some pants that were too big for our skinny legs.

Gone to the doctor several times.

Enjoyed a post baby beverage.

Gone to Railroad Park.

The Zoo.

Spent a lot of time looking at this monitor. What did people do before all this fancy gear? We are so spoiled.

Taken lots of warm baths.

Visited the Taco Truck.

Gone on a date night for my birthday, that ended with this flourless chocolate torte.

Tried all types of swaddles.

Enjoyed this first month as a family of three. It flies, like everyone says, and we are enjoying the fun and challenges of this stage. I know it goes quickly, so my prayer is to soak it all in. Even when there are some tears shed from everyone.
