MS told me a few days before he had a GREAT plan for packing the car that would allow Namath to ride in his bed right behind us. Let me interject here and say, I do not load the dishwasher at our house. Not well, anyways. I do not do math. In turn, I don't do puzzles. The rubiks cube was never something I aspired to achieve. I was doubtful, but, I was proven wrong.
This puzzle came together quite nicely.
After assuring the Grizz 3849 times we weren't leaving him, we loaded him up and were cruising south.
Half a book, a potty stop (for the four legged), candy stop (for the two leggeds), we arrived.
We woke up to some great news. Obama had cut the refi requirements! Also, the forecast was fantastic.
I think I'm officially old, because one of the best parts of the vacation was drinking coffee all morning while leisurely watching the Today show. MS spoiled me and fixed the coffee and cooked breakfast every morning so I could watch Matt Lauer and Savannah report on important figures like Carly Rae Jepsen and mull over Prince Harry's Vegas vacay.
I think Namath was embarrassed of his homeland.
After lounging around all morning, we pulled ourselves away to make it to the beach.
I know I've blogged about these before, but if you've never tried a banana daiquiri, it's worth mentioning again. Try a banana daiquiri. Nothing says vacation like a frozen drink before lunch.
Check out these colors. Amazing.
Toes in the sand at last.
And then, toes on the beach chair for some reading.
MS had the same idea.
What? You don't have the decorative fruit tervis tumbler?
Home station.
The first night I had a handsome date for Dewey Destin's.
And then my other five dates arrived....crab stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp.
That's all she wrote for day one.

I can't decide if I'm more jealous of NCWS or y'all on the beach.
