Paws in the Sand

One of the things I was most looking forward to this trip was getting Namath's paws in the sand.

So we got up early one morning and took our tails down to the beach.

My Lord it's early. What is that bright light? Where's Al Roker and where's my coffee?

Namath hates water. And all small appliances and new noises. So we fully expected this little field trip to be nothing short of a barking fit.

It seems the snakes that live in his head didn't come along for the beach trip, and he loved the ocean.

Why didn't he want to do the sorority squat for this picture? More importantly, why am I doing it?

All that salt water really got the digestive system moving, and despite two trips out already, he left a big surprise on the beach for the sea gulls.

MS had to go scavage for (another) bag while Namath anxiously kept watch.

This is SO embarrassing....

 Somewhere out there......

He was left with some killer wavy beach fur for the remainder of the day.

After a rough month or so, it did my heart happy to see him frolicking in the sand rather than pouting in the corner.

Changes in latitude, changes in attitude.

Oh my gosh! I love this!!!! I told my husband last night that I was reading your blog and you took Namath to the beach. We always leave our "kids" with my parents when we travel and I was so excited to see that you took him. I really want to do this now! I think our little Frenchies would get a kick out it!!!!

Its so fun to see Namath frolicking in the water!!!! :)
