There was about a two week lag time between the completion of the house and the end of our lease. It seemed a total waste to spend a months rent for two weeks, with all the things we are needing and wanting for the house, so Matt's parents graciously agreed to host us and our bowling ball of a pet.
In good news, we got tile in the fire place....
a driveway....
and a back splash and counter tops.
In less thrilling news, our incredibly inactive dog somehow managed to tear his ACL. Yes, as a matter of fact dogs can tear their ACLs. He'll do anything to get out of moving boxes...
Kidding, Namath. Jeez.
Let's hope this sign is...a sign. He was NONE too impressed at drop off on Monday.
There's a lot of disorder, change and unexpected surprises as of late. It's not in my DNA to roll with the punches, but my prayer is that I'm learning that I'm not in control all the time, and to rest and trust in His provision. Even for the furry one.

Poor baby... Hope he feels better.
I LOVE your kitchen... exactly what we are thinking for our kitchen redo!
Well, I was going to say that you got me singing "I'm so excited! And, I just can't hide it!" But that all ended with Namath's sad face! :( Poor thing! Hope he heals quickly!
Praying for you all and your move! The house is looking fabulous!
The kitchen is amazing! Bisque has done you right. Can't wait to see the finished product!
