Someone's birthday is coming up and they got a brand new pair of bright shoes. I think he's trying to beat me in the marathon with all his new gear. No, it's not Namath.
MS is fascinated with this. We walked ALL OVER one Sunday looking for it, and here we found it, when we weren't looking at all. Pretty deep implications there.
Finally, 5 blocks later, we arrived. Grizz had his toes crossed he was getting the Elvis cupcake - complete with bacon.
Birthday cake with fruity pebbles and captain crunch. No bacon.
Five blocks does him in. I laugh when people ask if he runs with us.
This was two hours later. Still exhausted. Maybe a little angry too.
I thought a two hour rest was enough that we could go to the park. By 'go' I mean drive the two blocks there and sit on a bench. But he was having none of it.
I think he knew I was the brain behind the operation, because he wouldn't take a picture with me to save his life.
Kids. They can be so ungrateful.

I laugh hysterically every time I read about Namath because our bulldog, Winston, acts the exact same. He is such a character!
I have no clue how I came across your blog but it cracks me up every time.
I love your downtown Birmingham discoveries! And nice call with the birthday cake. I've been dying to try Paramount!
