Wright Turns One!

We went back and forth on Wright's first birthday. Friends or family only? Theme or no theme? In the end, we decided simple with just our family. The "theme" was blue and green - the same colors we used in his room, and it turned out great.

A little pre-party set up. The white chocolate dipped pretzels were the biggest hit.

Cake from Publix. They do a free smash cake for the first birthday. Sold.

LOVE this one year old!

Safe to say the balloons were one of his favorite things.

Not to mention his books. Love the Llama, Llama series!

Love this picture. He is just fascinated by Uncle Chris.

Let the Lego obsession begin!

First try at cake. Here goes nothing!

I won't post the 92 cake pictures I took, but this is about how the progression went....

This little labor of love...

I don't think I'll be opening my own Etsy shop anytime soon, but it got the job done. WTS looked super cute sitting in front of it too.

On his actual birthday, we started the day at Chick Fil A, per family tradition.

His crib was all decorated. We love his classroom!

I think they got better cake smash pictures than we did. That hat. Lord.

This little boy has our whole hearts. So cliche, but parenting is the hardest and best thing we've ever done.
Wright, you bring your whole family loads of joy and laughter. We are so thankful for your life, and so humbled we get to be your parents. You are just the best!!
