How Does the Old Saying Go?

They say its not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog. I guess this is true, since I have a good sized dog, who doesn't seem to have much fight. Either that, or I'd hate to see the other dog.

He'll be fine with some TLC, anti-biotics and prednisone.

We, on the other hand, are a little heartbroken to see him hurt and moping around.

It's been a long week. I'll hopefully report back with some good news and less graphic images.

Poor Names! I think that pup has earned some doggie ice cream. It hurts my heart that some other mutt hurt him. Get well soon, buddy!

Oh no! A friend of mine's dog recently got into a fight at playcare. Poor puppies!

I'm glad that I found your blog through Leanne's blog (http://mattandleannemcw.blogspot.com/). I'm in Birmingham, too.

Erin... I am usually not a "commenter" but this made me so sad for the little guy! :-( Hope he is feeling better soon!

The more I think about this the more mad it makes me. The fact that they took your dog to the vet, put him on all kinds of meds, and NEVER CALLED YOU!?!? And what about the dog that attacked him? He should be banned from the daycare. How do you know he won't be there again? Not that animals are the same as humans, but if any version of this happened at a childcare venue, you could shut them down. Poor Nam. : (
